Instead of writing what I’m going to do in 2013, here’s some of what I did in 2012:
- Read significantly more (15+ books in 2012, maybe 3 or 4 in 2011)
- Hint: if you want to read more, buy a Kindle!
- Watched a lot less TV (no longer have TV on in the morning or when I come home from work)
- Consumed a lot less mainstream media and news
- Reduced my appetite and lost over 2″ from my waist as a result
- Travelled solo around Eastern Europe for ~3 weeks
- Started to learn about happiness and began making changes in my life that will benefit me for the rest of my life
- Moved to London proper (Watford, as it turns out, is not quite London!)
- Achieved some very significant business milestones that were set out over 4 years ago
- Undertook some charitable work
- Started a self invested personal pension (SIPP) and made my first investment
- Started listening to Radio 4, mainly through podcasts
- Took up bouldering and skiing
