I’m pretty happy with my HTC One X and in today’s mobile world, there’s always something better around the next corner.
However there are a couple of points about the new Galaxy that are pretty interesting.
Compared to the One X, the overall specs are pretty similar – both quad core powerful processors, 1GB of RAM etc. But it’s the details that are interesting me.
The Galaxy has a removable battery compared to the One X’s non-removable battery. It also has a 2100mAh compared to 1800mAh.
Storage wise, the Galaxy has 16/32/64GB options and a microSD card slot to expand that – which is pretty sweet. 32GB on the One X is pretty good, but I think that more than 50GB or even 100GB is when it could change the way you use your phone storage. For example I could sync my whole Dropbox to it.
Lastly, it takes a full size SIM card, rather than the One X’s micro SIM. I don’t know how much of an issue this is going to be, but I know that it could present problems down the line.
